Government and defense operators face real operational limits in the field:
The SkyScout 2+ eliminates these constraints with American-built engineering designed for tactical readiness and field longevity.

The SkyScout 2+ blends compact, mission-ready design with American manufacturing, advanced payload flexibility, and electromagnetic resilience which provide dependable ISR, mapping, and reconnaissance capabilities when teams cannot afford failure.
Real issues. Proven engineering responses.
SignalShield™ absorbs EMI for uninterrupted data transmission near power lines, radar systems, and communications towers to deliver uninterrupted command & data links in high-EMI zones.
Dual passive/active cooling stabilizes internal temperatures under load for consistent mission performance.
Hot-Swap Payload System supports EO/IR (Gremsy Vio), LiDAR, and mapping (Sony LR1) without extra airframes including Vio and LR1 payloads.
RTK geotagging secures centimeter-grade accuracy across uneven ground and dense canopy.
Backpack-portable; deployable by a single operator in minutes.
Ready to take your operations to the next level?
Long-range visual/thermal collection, target detection, and persistent surveillance for mobile teams using the SkyScout 2+ with the Gremsy Vio.
High-precision terrain data for mission planning, route analysis, overwatch, and documentation featuring— including Sony LR1 photogrammetry support.
Accurate structural capture for power, bridge, telecom, and critical-infrastructure sites using LiDAR payloads.
Easy portability, rapid employment, and adaptable payloads for austere, maritime, and forward environments.
Fast deployment, minimal setup, and consistent flight performance.
Fast deployment, minimal setup, and consistent flight performance. Hot-swappable payloads cover ISR, mapping, LiDAR, and future SIGINT/EW modules, compatible with the Gremsy Vio and Sony LR1.
Built with field feedback from real teams in operational environments.
NDAA-aligned build with verifiable domestic supply chain.
Designed, assembled, and supported in Mississippi with U.S. warehouse and parts logistics.
Upcoming case studies will detail how government and public-sector teams deploy the SkyScout 2+ for ISR, mapping, and infrastructure missions in real operational conditions.

Licensed Surveyor

Multicopter Warehouse customer
“A 5- or 10-acre track that used to take us all day to tie in the grades and get good control now takes about 20 minutes tops with the WISPR SkyScout instead of eight hours. I’ll make that trade all day. I could have 10 guys out there shooting the same track all day long and still never get the detail I get with the SkyScout drone.”

Frontier Precision
What is your favorite thing about the new SkyScout 2?
“Super excited about the new SkyScout 2. I would have to say the obstacle avoidance — that’s a big ask for a lot of our customers to give them situational awareness and security when flying. The upgraded motors allow for higher lift capacity so we can start integrating more payloads like the Surveyor Ultra onto it. And then the heating and cooling ability — again, giving you security while out flying in hot and cold environments.”

gNext Labs
What is your favorite thing about the new SkyScout 2?
“It has got to be by far the active cooling system. We have so many customers that are out in that heat, and we know what that does to batteries. That’s going to do nothing but improve efficiency and keep this up capturing more data — that’s going to end up in gNext.”

InTerra
What is your favorite thing about the new SkyScout 2?
“We really like its sleek new features — a lot of new things it has — but what we really enjoy is the ability for it to collect data so quickly, so efficiently, and so accurately.”
